Status: Former resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat: Heathland.

Locality: Castor Hanglands.   

Observations: The only mention of this species that I have been able to trace in the records is by R. E. M. Pilcher when writing in the 1960’s in his unpublished paper, “The Lepidoptera of Castor Hanglands and Ailsworth Heath 1911-1960,” in which he  describes the species as, “Not common on the reserve.”
