Status: Migrant.

Distribution and Abundance: Rare.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Recorded from May to September.

Records: 27 September 2006 Delapre Golf Course (P. Fox), and 22 May 1992 Castor Hanglands (C. Gardiner).

Observations: The 2006 record was of a moth that was found dead. The 1992 record was at a time of high migration of the species to southern England. There is a further record of a moth having been found at rest on a gatepost on 8 July 1949 in Kettering by (E. Osborn). The 1904 moth below was recorded in May.
