Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Single brooded in July.

Localities: Yardley Chase, Lings Wood, Ashton Wold and Barnock Hills and Holes.

Observations: The moth was common at an actinic light trap run in a Kettering garden in the 1970’s, but rare at an m.v. light trap sited in a garden less than a quarter of a mile away in the 1980’s and 1990's.

Confusion Species: Round-winged Muslin

L.O.N.: 1906. Castor. Flying at dusk.
