Status: Rare migrant.

Distribution and Abundance: Rare.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Known records in May, July and August.

Records: 28 July 1946 Bedford Purlieus (P. Gent), 31 May 1950 Oxney Gravel Pits (H. Tebbs) and last record 1973 Broughton (F. Adams).

Observations: The four records mentioned are the only known occurrences of the species in the county. The moth only migrates sporadically as far north as Northamptonshire and this tally is comparable with other midland counties.
