Flight Period: July - September

Observations: The lower photo is of the first VC32 record, seen in Yardley Chase during daytime survey work. The moth has recently been seen to expand its range from its former heartland around the south of Devon, Dorset and Isle of Wight. Sporadic records have been received from neighbouring counties. A form with yellow hindwings also exists, ab. lutescens.
