Observations: The first county record of this moth (depicted in the lower image) was taken in a garden m.v. light trap on 26 August 2008. Since then, The species is reported as resident in the South-east of Britain, with populations also recorded in parts of Wales. It has been noted more recently in adjacent counties (Bedfordshire, Huntingdonshire, Buckinghamshire). Further specimens were noted in 2016, but repeated reports from a single location in Kingsthorpe in 2017 strongly suggests local breeding.

The larva feed on soft fruit plants such as Bramble, Wild Raspberry, Wild Strawberry, over-wintering as small larvae.

First Record: 2008, Smith.
