Observations: This record is contained in a published report of the Oundle School Natural History Society for the year 1955 and also features in the Peterborough museum records archive. There is no moth in the school collection to support the record. As the known distribution of this species does not include Northamptonshire and the moth can be confused with others I have disregarded the record and am only including it here for completeness.
