  Least Yellow Underwing Noctua interjecta

B&F: 2112

ABH: 73.346

Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Observations: My own field records show that although I have seen this species in eight of the last ten years in the county it has almost always been in small numbers. On one occasion I found the caterpillar feeding at night on opening hawthorn leaves. One of the best sites in the county for this species is Collyweston Quarry where the moth was common at m.v. light on 23 July 1988.
