Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Rather local.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Localities: Hazelborough Forest, Daventry, Wakerley Wood and Collyweston Quarry.

Observations: Over the year’s records for this moth gradually decreased until by the early 1990’s it had not been seen for some fifteen years. In 1992 it was found fairly commonly at Easton Hornstocks, since which time it has become more widespread within the county and is probably currently under recorded.

L.O.N.: 1907. Several localities. Often common at sugar.
