Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in May and June.

Localities: Yardley Chase, Fineshade, Castor Hanglands and Eye.

Observations: The moth can be common at light as on 16 May 1998 at Collyweston Quarry when despite a persistent cold wind twenty examples came to two m.v. lights.

L.O.N.: 1907. Wadenhoe, Geddington Chase. At sugar. Not common.
