Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Rather local.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in March and April.

Localities: Hazelborough Wood, Brampton Wood, Weldon Park and Castor Hanglands.

Observations: The moth was common at actinic light traps left overnight amongst aspen at Grafton Park Wood in the 1970’s. It was much less plentiful to m.v. light traps left near to poplars in Geddington Chase during the 1990’s.

Confusion Species: Clouded Drab
