Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Single brooded in July and August.

Observations: The moth can be very common on the limestone grassland at Collyweston Quarry. Useful abundance and flight period data is supplied below by the woodland Fineshade Rothamsted light trap. Viz:-
