B&F: 2202

ABH: 73.300

Status: Vagrant/migrant.

Distribution and Abundance: Rare.

Flight Period: Recorded in September.

Record: 22.ix.2010, Wellingborough (D. Larkin); 02.x.2013, Pitsford Reservoir (Furfaro); 01.x.2014, Northampton (Gill).

Observations: The first VC32 record of this moth was taken in a garden light trap. As with other moths not normally occurring in the county which have been trapped in this locality the origin of the moth is unclear, but it could have been introduced on plants supplied to a garden centre nearby. The image is of the actual moth and apart from some minor fringing shows that it is in good condition.

First Record: 2010, Larkin.
