Observations: The
Faxton record by Wallis is endorsed Old Poors
Gorse by Frank Adams in his copy of L.O.N. A
puzzling moth to feature on a list for Northamptonshire,
particularly having regard to Walliss recording
expertise and that the county is mentioned, along with
Warwickshire, as being a northern limit of the range of
the species by Meyrick in his 1927 book, A Revised
Handbook of British Lepidoptera.
