Locality: In,“A Systematic Classification of the Lepidoptera which have Occurred in the Vicinity of Northampton,” by Wm. Hull & H. F. Tomalin, the locality is shown as Whittlebury Forest.

Observations: As this is the only mention of the recording of the species that I have been able to find, presumably this must have given rise to the Victoria County History entry below.
