Status:  Resident.

Distribution and Abundance:  Common.

Primary Habitat:  Woodland.

Flight Period:  Single brooded from September to April.

Observations:  The moth was particularly common at sugar on 9 March 1991 at Geddington Chase with sixty-six over wintered examples being recorded from some twenty sugared trees.

L.O.N.:  1907. Many localities. Very common.
