Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded from September into November.

Observations: The moth is mainly on the wing in October and is quite variable in abundance as shown by recent records from the two static Pitsford Water m.v. light traps:-
