Status: Former resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Rare - no modern records

Records: 1901 near Towcester (Whittingham), 1903 Farthingstone (Bull), 1903 Weedon (Whittingham) and 1907 near Blatherwycke (Wallis).

Observations: The 1901 record is of a moth that emerged in 1902 from a pupa dug during the preceding winter and is taken from the J. Northampt. Nat. Hist. Soc., vol. 12, p. 70, 1903/4. The 1903 records are those mentioned in L.O.N. The 1907 record is in respect of two moths and is contained in some of Wallis’s unpublished material.
