Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in July and August.

Observations: The moth can be numerous at m.v. light as on 24 July 1993 when nineteen examples were taken on the grassland bordering Kirtley Coppice.

L.O.N.: 1907. Many localities. Common.
