Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in July and August.

Localities: Yardley Chase, Irchester Country Park, Geddington Chase and Whitewater Reservoir.

Observations: Although usually seen in small numbers at light and sugar in the county the moth was quite common in the 1970’s at actinic light amongst the poplars and aspens in Grafton Park Wood.

Confusion Species: Double Kidney
