Records: 1882 Wellingborough (W. Hull. & H. Tomalin) and 15 June 1937 Gretton (E. Wallis).

Observations: In view of its very restricted national range that is well away from this county, this is an odd species to feature on a list of moths for Northamptonshire. Offsetting this considerable credibility is added to the Gretton record by its recorder Eustace Wallis and that it would almost certainly have been seen by Arthur Cooper of similar expertise.
