Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Common.

Primary Habitat: Woodland.

Flight Period: Single brooded from June to August.

Observations: The Fineshade Rothamsted light trap running in woodland in the 1990’s produced the following results:-

I have found the smaller female to be much less common at light.
