Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Rare.

Primary Habitat: Wetland.

Flight Period: In literature August and September.

Record: Post 1993 Peterborough (A. Stubbs).

Observations: The record was derived from a retrospective list of captures from a garden light trap submitted in 2010. The actual date of recording is not known, but the identity was determined by Paul Waring. This species and its congeners are known to wander far away from their known breeding sites.
