Observations: The
moth was particularly common at an m.v. light trap
running in a Wellingborough garden in the 1950s
with the best year being 1951 when 531 moths were taken
between 10 June and 24 August. As a comparison the year
2000 was the most productive recent year at the Pitsford
Water light traps when 319 moths were recorded between 12
June and 19 August.
