Status: Resident.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in May and June.

Localities: Yardley Chase, Nene Campus, Pitsford Water and Wakerley Wood.

Observations: Although the moth can be common where it occurs, as in the SSSI hay meadow at Barford Meadows, it is certainly less widespread than formerly and seemingly no longer present in many of its old localities.
