Status: Resident and possible migrant.

Distribution and Abundance: Local.

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: Single brooded in June and July.

Localities: Yardley Chase, Barford Meadows, Harringworth Lake and Old Sulehay Forest.

Observations: Probably the best locality for the species in the county is Collyweston Quarry where seven moths were taken at light on 4 July 1987. Elsewhere records are usually of single moths at light.
