  Small Marbled Eublemma parva

B&F: 2408

ABH: 72.073

Status: Migrant.

Distribution and Abundance: Rare.

Records: 16th July 2015, Northampton, (P. Sharpe); 11th July 2011 Peterborough (M. Weedon) and 23rd May 1953 Farming Woods (P. Gent).

Observations: The 2015 record was taken during a period of migration activity, with several migrant species being recorded in the county during the spring and summer of this year. The 2011 moth was taken in a garden m.v. light trap in Peterborough at a time of moderate migrant activity to the county. The earlier moth was disturbed and netted in the afternoon. It was not identified prior to netting and was just the result of a speculative sweep of the net. (P. Gent pers. comm.).

First Record: 1953, Gent.
