Distribution and Abundance: Rare

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: July - August.

Records: Post 2000: 25 June 2014, Peterborough (P. Waring); 2 August 2013, Ring Haw, (R. Follows); Older records: 14 July 1983 Kingsthorpe (P. Sharpe), 16 July 1988 Sywell (J. Dunkley) and 22 July 1989 Collyweston Quarry (J. Ward).

Observations: All instances of the occurrence of this moth in Northamptonshire have been of singletons. It is unlikely that the county supports any resident populations.
