Distribution and Abundance: Rare - no modern records

Primary Habitat: Grassland.

Flight Period: All more recent records have been in July.

Records: 14 July 1983 Kingsthorpe (P. Sharpe), 16 July 1988 Sywell
(J. Dunkley) and 22 July 1989 Collyweston Quarry (J. Ward).

Observations: All instances of the occurrence of this moth in Northamptonshire have been of singletons. It is unlikely that the county supports any resident populations.
