Primary Habitat: General occurrence.

Flight Period: Recorded in July and August.

Records: 1882 in the vicinity of Northampton (W. Hull & H. Tomalin), 28 July 1972 Broughton (F. Adams) and 15 August 1955 Ailsworth Heath (H. Tebbs).

Observations: The years 1955 and 1972 are known to be years of above average migratory activity in the species.
