B&F: 2454

ABH: 72.082

Status: Rare / Migrant.

Record: 1921 Ashton Wold (Oundle School record - unconfirmed); Easton Hornstocks, 1st July 2025.

Observations: The first county record is an entry on a list of, “Moths of the Oundle District,” by M. B. Skirrow compiled in 1947. The specific recorder is unstated, but was assigned to Ashton Wold as the site of capture. This record does not appear in any subsequent text books, and thus remained as "unconfirmed". A single moth was taken to light in Easton Hornstocks on 1st July 2025, during a fairly prolonged period of hot weather and migration activity. The ID was confirmed from photograph.
Amazingly, a second moth was subsequently recorded to light at Farthinghoe NR on 11th July 2025.

First Record: 1921, Oundle School record (unconfirmed). 2025, Follows (confirmed)
