occurrence.
Flight Period: Usually
single brooded, mainly seen in the spring after
hibernation and in late summer as the main brood.
Observations:
Records extend to all months of the year due to the moth
being seen over-wintering in buildings and outhouses. In
July 1970, I found several full grown caterpillars
resting conspicuously on a small white willow growing on
the edge of Pitsford Water.
