Record: Pre 1940 Castor Hanglands (S. Pooles).

Observations: The record is taken from a Biological Records Centre card and in view of the moths food plant presumably harks back to the days when the heathland was of a more diverse structure. The Ministry of Defence cleared much of this heathland when the area was used as a bombing range in the Second World War with resultant species loss.
