Observations: The
moth was regarded as common at Castor Hanglands by R.
E. M. Pilcher in his unpublished paper on The
Lepidoptera of Castor Hanglands and Ailsworth Heath
1911-1960. The decline of this species in
Northamptonshire follows the national trend.
